Our annual tradition is to participate in the Operation Christmas Child event. We pack shoeboxes filled with little goodies such as puzzles, stationery, and toys along with a special handmade holiday card. We also go to a local processing center to help sort through shoeboxes to be sent to children in third world countries.
From meal packing at a local church to baking chocolate chip cookies for the homeless and volunteering at the Salvation Army food pantry, we aim to give individuals experiencing economic hardships access to nutritious food.
As an organization, we make hygiene kits with masks, body care products, and small snacks for members supported by Pathways of Hope.
We hold virtual seminars for incoming freshmen to provide them with more information about what to expect and support their transition into high school. We also hold school supply drives in August, donating items to Pathways of Hope who will distribute them to students.
By sending joy and encouragement to people who are currently going through difficulties and challenges, we hope to give them strength to continue fighting their battles.
The event we take the most pride in as an organization is our recycling drives where we use the funds earned through recycling to help support the United Nations relief efforts and children at the Children's Hospital of Orange County.
